Take a tour with one of our docents and learn the history of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter through the stories of the beautiful Victorian buildings that adorn the district.

Gaslamp Historical/Architectural Walking Tour Reservations MUST be made by 1:00 PM WEDNESDAY.  Reservations made after 1:00 pm Wednesday must be confirmed.

Opening a window to San Diego’s past, the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation showcases the history of the Davis-Horton House built in 1850, as well as walking tours of the historic Gaslamp Quarter. This walking tour begins at the Davis-Horton House at 410 Island Avenue. The tour is open to the public and takes place rain or shine: NO REFUNDS.

This immersive experience takes you on a culinary tour of Little Italy as guests savor the delicious cuisine Italy is known for, while strolling through the neighborhood, seeing the sights and learning about the neighborhood’s history. This food tour will highlight several Little Italy restaurants representing different regions of Italy including some traditional neighborhood staples and new ones with a modern twist. Hear the heartwarming stories of how these recipes and dishes came to be and learn about the history of these first-generation Italian restaurants and their owners.
