    Take a tour with one of our docents and learn the history of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter through the stories of the beautiful Victorian buildings that adorn the district.

    Gaslamp Historical/Architectural Walking Tour Reservations MUST be made by 1:00 PM WEDNESDAY.  Reservations made after 1:00 pm Wednesday must be confirmed.

    Opening a window to San Diego’s past, the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation showcases the history of the Davis-Horton House built in 1850, as well as walking tours of the historic Gaslamp Quarter. This walking tour begins at the Davis-Horton House at 410 Island Avenue. The tour is open to the public and takes place rain or shine: NO REFUNDS.

    Flag Day Celebration at the Mormon Battalion Historic Site in Old Town. 

    Old Town San Diego’s Mormon Battalion Historic Site is set to honor four deserving Vietnam veterans by bestowing upon them the prestigious title of honorary members of the Mormon Battalion. As part of the commemorative Flag Day Celebration, this event pays tribute to the faith, service, and sacrifice displayed by these individuals in their defense of liberty. The ceremony provides an opportunity for the community to come together and express gratitude to those who have devoted their lives to safeguarding our nation.

    The induction ceremony will take place on the back lawn of the Mormon Battalion Historic Site. The event will be accompanied by the Marine Band San Diego. Members of the public are warmly invited to attend this free celebration, where cake and ice cream will be served.
